Would it be possible to install an aftermarket 3-axis accelerometer (like the ADXL377) in a car in order to provide G-force data to EMS so they could better assess possible injuries?
If so, I realize car deformation and crumple zones would make it difficult to place the accelerometer(s) to accurately measure similar G's as the vehicle occupants. That having been said, is there any suggestions as where would be best to place a device?
